Bedwyr’s Prayer

I’ve walked the perimeter
Of Camelot’s walls
In Joseph’s sunken chapel
I’ve played for the God(s)
In Merlin’s cave
I’ve seen the Grail restored
I’ve been in Arthur’s Great Hall
In Tintagel town
When Excalibur was reformed
And my Knighthood was restored

Yet now I but wander
From place to place
Lost to the magic
Exiled to a place
I cannot call my own.

Merlin and Morgan
I call to thee
Show me the way
Across the wide sea
To where the world’s full of wonder
And the spirit flies free
Cerridwyn let me drink from your cauldron
And find inspiration upon the breeze
Arianrod spin a new skein
Add something new to the tapestry
Morrigan lift the veil of Darkness
Let the clinging shadow of death melt away.
